The only thing that was added was the gold keys on each broken heart,and another layer of gray paint for the lock.

Second layer of red paint and also a another layer gray for the lock. I also have added footsteps with different Color paints which represents hearts being stepped on.

I added the gold paint to the center of the heart which is like a gold ribbon. And I also added a second layer of white and black paint to the outer heart.
I also painted the devil horns, and the angel halo but added glitter to the halo

I sketched out my ideal first to have a plan on what I would like the piece to look like. I also did this on raw canvas.

I had to bring the mouth and the eye up a little bit, but by doing that I created a smile that is not in the original piece

Doing this piece was difficult to me. I kept changing things in the painting, and having to go back and fix it.

This piece is very uncomfortable for me to look at. It is a great piece, but it makes me feel uneasy.
